Why modern technologies have a future or study IT

Our daily lives are inherently influenced by modern technology. Why does it make sense to study them too?

Study IT and get to know the evolving world of digitalisation

The classic image of a programmer who spends his days and nights at the keyboard and speaks in strange abbreviations is, of course, just an ingrained prejudice. It's not just programming that is studied in IT schools, but also graphic design, virtual reality and artificial intelligence.

IT fields thus offer diversity in focus, but also the certainty of later employment. Digitisation and automation are "pulling" many companies forward across industries. Graduates of this sector can find employment in industry, construction, marketing, education and healthcare.

Thanks to their skills, information technology professionals are becoming virtually essential pillars in today's companies. And this applies not only to technology giants. In the Czech Republic alone, statistics indicate that there is currently a demand for approximately 30,000 jobs to be filled by "IT specialists".

Moreover, unlike many other fields, graduates can adapt their work very well. In the IT sector, it is not a problem to secure part-time or telecommuting jobs. If we add to this the above-average financial remuneration, it would be hard to find a more promising sector in the conditions of the contemporary labour market.

Become an "IT guy" with the European Training Academy

You can also study IT at the European Training Academy. In the course called Programmer and IT Specialist (18-003-M, 18-009-N, 18-001-M), students learn to program, manage SQL databases and maintain servers.

They can take full advantage of all the benefits offered by the IT major. As already mentioned, one of the key ones is the possibility of working remotely, i.e. from abroad. This approach is also supported by the school itself. Since the teaching is online, those interested can start building their professional background conveniently while studying.

It is also true that the demand for IT experts brings with it job security. Our school cooperates with partner companies, where students have the chance to get a very interestingly valued job.

The salary for these positions is around 50,000 to 150,000 CZK.
