What is MBA?
It is a university degree (Master of Business Administration = MBA), which is written after the name but can be obtained by studying at a university or institution that is accredited, most often by an international accreditation society. This study is classified as a professional study in the Czech Republic and is mainly focused on practical knowledge and skills, most often, as the name suggests, in the field of management. This type of study is suitable for managerial positions and for entrepreneurs or persons who want to hold this position. According to the Bologna Process, it belongs to the second cycle and is referred to in Europe as EQF 7 = Master's degree. In the Czech Republic, it is still considered a professional degree and is not supported by the Act 111/1998 Coll. In the outside world, this study has more weight than the study with a Master's degree. The quality of an MBA is most often determined by the content of the curriculum (according to the number of ECTS), it should be similar to the Bologna Process.
