What is EQF ?
The EQF is a common European reference framework that helps to understand, compare and recognize qualifications obtained in the European Union. (European Qualifications Framework)
Thanks to the EQF, education levels between individual states can be compared and compared.
An example can be a masters degree, which will be of approximately the same quality both in the Czech Republic and in Germany.
The EQF defines eight qualification levels that determine the level of education of any kind. You can find out your level of education below or on your report card or diploma (from 2017).

Graduates of elementary schools and auxiliary special schools.
Graduates of secondary education without a study certificate and secondary education with a study certificate intended primarily for students with disabilities and medical disadvantages for a duration of study of 2 years.
Graduates of secondary education with a matriculation exam, both professional and general level, including extension studies ending with a matriculation exam.

Graduates of secondary education with a teaching certificate lasting 3 years.
In the Czech Republic, only professional qualifications are assigned to EQF 5 (formal education does not lead to it).
Graduates of higher professional education with a degree (DiS.). Bachelors degree, which is indicated by titles (Bc., BcA., BBA).
Graduates of higher education with masters degrees (Mgr., MBA, Msc., MPA, LL.M., Ph.Dr., JUDr., MUDr., MVDr.).
Graduates of doctoral study programs of university studies with degrees (DBA, Ph.D., Th.D. ).
